Large family

This Awesome family came by the shop last night to pick up dads new board. They were a super stoked bunch and I enjoyed showing them some of the stages of building surfboards. Enjoy the board!

This is the list of the ONLY boards I will be building for 2011. I will not be getting any more blanks or any duplicate sizes. This will be on a first come first serve basis. When it's gone you will have to wait until next year. I will do a few hand shaped customs but they will sell for $1600. The list of stock boards will be $1385.00.

A few pics for the weekend

Kingsman

I made this 5'4" shortboard for my friend Eric Last week. He came to me with some dimensions and a rough idea of what he wanted. I had him come over and watch me shape it to make sure what was in his head was in front of him. It came out sweet, he really liked it.

Here are a few I did on Friday. I prepped the batch of boards I'm working on today and will lam decks tomorrow and Wednesday then off to Pupo for the worlds best gloss and polish!

T-Ride get's a mag shot!

Just picked up this new Slide Magazine. Tony Stephens made a big splash in a multiple page photo taken of him riding a Boarddesign IsIsh (5'9"). Photo taken by Ian Zamora at a local rocky tube. T-ride sent me a video text today of him getting tubed at the same spot while drinking a beer! Youth!?!

Shaping up

This is a new model I'm shaping called the RSVP. It's a squared nose, wide point forward, narrow pintail with lot's of foil and bevel. I'll finish it off tomorrow.

Here is a Double Wide I made for a friend of mine. It's 25 1/2" wide!!! This thing is HUGE and it's making me want to make more cuz it's COOL.

Two more to shape tomorrow then EVERYONE with a order in will be getting glassed up! Expect some pictures to be up on thursday or friday.

Yes

A customer told me to do something really colorful, almost kind of "hippy colors" he said. I turned out this tie dye inspired creation. I like it! I'll post more pics when done, it's over at the Cooperfish factory being polished by J Pupo.

Incut

I made this board a few days ago. It's a Fish Egg with a incut rail and a stealth cut tail. I like it! Pretty groovy. I'll post more when it's getting closer to being completed.

David's double sunburst

Our friend at FFF David stopped in to pick up his board yesterday. David is a local Ventura artist who had a custom board in mind with some color's and design. He's getting all his ducks in a row to start a new chapter in his life as a English teacher in Ecuador. A few things on his list like some new boards are taken care of. Enjoy your new stick and your new home base. Stoked to build a board for you, this dude is Super Pumped!!

Custom Bliss

My buddy Steve picking up his new 9'2" Is Is. After waiting patiently while I was in Ireland and Mammoth, he finally got his new custom yesterday at San O (the place with a $15 day use). The board looked awesome, hamajang bottom with a striped nose and h/d t-band.
